MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA (February 15, 2023) – The Planet Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Michael Stomberg, has been named by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, to its 2023 North American Staffing 100 list. This marks the second time Stomberg has received the recognition. In its 12th year, SIA’s annual list honors bold industry leaders who are charting a course into the future of workforce solutions.
As founder and CEO of The Planet Group, Stomberg has led the company to more than 20% year-over-year organic growth in the last year, achieving over $600 million in revenue and earning the company spots on SIA’s Largest US Staffing Firms and Largest Global Direct Hire Staffing Firms lists. Additionally, Stomberg was inducted into the MidOcean Partners (MOP) Hall of Fame in 2022. MOP was Planet’s private equity partner from 2018 to 2021, during which time the company’s revenue grew to over $600 million from $150 million and achieved an 8.5-times return on invested capital in three years.
